Treatment Approaches

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): This form of therapy helps the individual identify self-defeating beliefs and negative thought processes. Ones that contribute to addiction, and then begin to challenge and change those thought processes. Changing one’s thinking will, in turn, change how one feels and behaves.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): Participants of this therapy learn to regulate emotions and build insight into emotional, biological, and cognitive reactivity. This will allow the individual to challenge their reactivity with effective coping techniques and identify opportunities for positive change.

Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT): This is an action-oriented approach to managing cognitive, emotional and behavioral disturbances. According to REBT, it is largely The center thinking about events that leads to emotional and behavioral upset. With an emphasis on the present, individuals are taught how to examine and also challenge their unhelpful thinking. Those which create unhealthy emotions and self-defeating/self-sabotaging behaviors. It is a practical approach to assist individuals in coping with and overcoming adversity as well as achieving goals.

Motivational Interviewing: Through engaged with therapists, individuals recognize change as a process. They then find the motivation within to make it happen.

Expressive Therapy: The center knows that each individual expresses themselves in different ways. For this reason, The center offers art and music expressive therapies as part of a men’s addiction rehab program.
