Integrated AOD/Mental Health: The Integrated AOD/Mental Health portion of the program at Ridgeview Recovery provides a combination of alcohol and other drugs/addictions and mental health services for those suffering from this dual diagnosis (i.e. mental health and co-occurring substance addiction). This includes services provided in a biopsychosocial format.
Detoxification/Withdrawal Management (DTX): The DTX portion of the program at Ridgeview Recovery is a time-limited program using the clinical team to assist guests with the physiological and psychological effects of acute withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs. Ridgeview Recovery’s purpose is to provide a safe medical detox and clinically supportive withdrawal experience with the intent to prepare guests to continue on to treatment in the progression toward recovery.
Residential Treatment (RTC): The RT portion of the program at Ridgeview Recovery is highyl organized. Treatment staff in provide both general and specialized nonhospital-based interdisciplinary services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for guests with behavioral health and/or co-occurring needs. The residential treatment program provides guests who reside at Ridgeview Recovery with services from treatment personnel who are trained in the delivery of services for guests with behavioral health disorders or related problems in a safe, trauma-informed, recovery-focused milieu.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): This form of therapy helps the individual identify self-defeating beliefs and negative thought processes. Ones that contribute to addiction, and then begin to challenge and change those thought processes. Changing one’s thinking will in turn change how one feels and behaves.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): Participants of this therapy learn to regulate emotions and build insight into emotional, biological, and cognitive reactivity. This will allow the individual to challenge their reactivity with effective coping techniques and identify opportunities for positive change.
Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT): This is an action-oriented approach to managing cognitive, emotional and behavioral disturbances. According to REBT, it is largely our thinking about events that leads to emotional and behavioral upset. With an emphasis on the present, individuals are taught how to examine and also challenge their unhelpful thinking. Those which create unhealthy emotions and self-defeating/self-sabotaging behaviors. It is a practical approach to assist individuals in coping with and overcoming adversity as well as achieving goals.
Motivational Interviewing: Through engaged with therapists, individuals recognize change as a process. They then find the motivation within to make it happen.
Expressive Therapy: We know that each individual expresses themselves in different ways. For this reason we offer art and music expressive therapies as part of a mens addiction rehab program.
